to times gone by...

"For auld lang syne, my dear,
for auld lang syne,
we'll take a cup of kindness yet,
for auld lang syne."
Thank you to all of my dear friends for making 2009 a year to remember and never forget. I cherish each and every one of you and remember our wonderful times together on this day. Though we may be far apart, I will take a cup of kindness tonight for auld lang syne.

your heart is aching,
Even though it's breaking,
When there are clouds in the sky- You'll get by,
If you
Smile through your fear and sorrow,
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll see the sun come shining through- For you.
Light up your face with gladness,
Hide ev'ry trace of sadness,
Altho' a tear may be ever so near,
That's the time you must keep on trying,
Smile- What's the use of crying,
You'll find that life is still worthwhile,
If you just smile.

Mystery Solved.

The boot belongs to Anne's sister-in-law. Apparently when Anne was moving in, she brought boxes from her sister-in-laws truck, and the boot mistakenly was brought into our apartment. The reality is not as entertaining or as fun as our theories, but at least we know the cable man didn't take anything from our apartment.

claim me.

There is a mysterious high heel boot (with sock and Dr. Scholl's insert) in our apartment. Where did it come from? Who walked away with only one shoe? Why did you leave it?

Our theories:
-The direct tv man that came the day of the finding left the boot and took something else in return (similar to the Life and Death Brigade from Gilmore Girls). But what did he take?
-The boot was thrown into our apartment from the sliding glass door on the balcony (tricky, but with the right angle it could work).
-The boot was left outside of our door and the direct tv man brought it in without mentioning it to us (sneaky).
-One of our friends decided to play a bizarre trick on our apartment, recently named Lady G (for G214).

For now the boot is sitting on top of our tv, as somewhat of a decoration, but more for the purpose of reminding us to lock our doors and to find an owner (because it's creepy). So please claim.

sad reality.

I don't have internet at my apartment. If I had internet I would blog more.

I haven't forgotten about you...I'm just not connected to the world wide web.

thank you Gilbert Blythe.

I felt old last night. The last four years have gone by so fast. With no further ado, I lack the words...

"when we look back now will our jokes still be funny?"

I picked up my cap and gown today and couldn't get these lyrics out of my head...

As we go on
We remember
All the times we
Had together
And as our lives change
From whatever
We will still be
Friends Forever

thanks vitamin c.

In the words of Brennan Manning:

"Dear Lord, grant me the grace of wonder. Surprise me, amaze me, awe me in every crevice of your universe. Delight me to see how your Christ plays in ten thousand places, lonely in limbs, and lovely in eyes not His, to the Father through features of men's faces. Each day enrapture me with your marvelous things without number...I do not ask to see the reason for it all; I ask only to share the wonder of it all"

raindrops keep falling on my head...

and my glasses. When it's raining I constantly have water drops on my glasses impairing my vision. Then I have to wipe off my glasses with my shirt and then they're smudgy. I should have just worn my contacts today.

I can have my cake and eat it too...

just doing my job.

currently my life revolves around:
The Bachelor
American Idol
The Biggest Loser
America's Best Dance Crew
True Beauty

I now walk around saying "F all you Bs" because of Megan from The Bachelor. I listen to people sing and say to myself "Simon would say no." I see strangers and think they could change their lives on the Biggest Loser. I try to bone crush like the crew on ABDC. And I now walk around trying to hold doors open for people so that I can have inner beauty.

Thank you reality TV.
